Crowns
| Crowns-A crown is the procedure of choice, when extreme loss of tooth structure due to decay, bruxing (grinding of teeth) or enamel that has cracked or chipped. This allows the remainder of the tooth to be sound. When the tooth is sound, you reduce the risk of loosing it and needing to fill a space. Crowns are made of porcelain ceramic coverings with no metal, allowing the appearance of a real tooth's translucent beauty. These porcelain structures are bonded around the whole tooth. |
